Introducing The TCG TRIO-DECK
First thoughts when I made this deck of cards… “I was too busy seeing if I could make it, that I never stopped to ask myself if I should make it.”
This crazy amalgamation of the industry’s top 3 trading card games all mashed into one 40 card deck is quite a wild idea, that actually works seamlessly really well!
Taking the big 3 games which are Magic the Gathering, Pokemon TCG and Yu-Gi-Oh and creating a deck of cards that can play all 3 games on the go is a novel idea that has a big payoff. Instead of 2 people taking 3 different decks of games out and about, each player now just grabs their 40 card Trio-Deck and start a battle of either of the 3 games, that simple!
The Trio-Deck is a fairly simple concept on how it works… simply just look at either the top section, middle section or bottom section depending on the game you’re playing. Magic the Gathering is listed on top, Yu-Gi-Oh cards are placed in the middle and to play Pokemon TCG just look at the bottom section of the cards and ignore everything else. The games are all played the exact same way they normally are played with setup and card draws. However MTG and Pokemon are 40 card decks to match the normal 40 card Yu-Gi-Oh deck. Read below on the slight rule changes with those 2 games.
How to Play

Pokemon TCG
With a 40 card Pokemon deck, only 3 bench Pokemon can be played at a time and only 4 Prize Cards are laid out. The rest of the game is the same.

Magic the Gathering
Nothing changes with having a 40 card MTG deck. Same draw size and same gameplay, have fun!

Yu-Gi-Oh!
Nothing changes here since Yu-Gi-Oh the card game is normally played with a 40 card deck. Enjoy playing!
Below are the two different Trio-Decks that we have made so far. That way each player has a different deck to have fun battling with. Both decks are semi equal in strength with each 3 games. Have fun printing these out, cutting them out and sleeving them to play with your friends!

TRIO-DECK BLANK TEMPLATE
This is a complete blank slate template where images of the cards can be placed to the left of the light grey line and then the text based parts of the MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon cards can get photoshopped onto the right larger empty space sections. You can either create them from scratch or copy and paste the cards text sections onto these blank spaces. Photoshopping will be needed however to make it a clean and precise format like we created.
